How good is the Coronga breeding flock?
The joined 2009 drop ewes scanned 3rd June 2010 showed 249 foetuses in 162 ewes which will lamb by 13 months old!!
Our total scan results are 960 foetuses in 532 ewes or 180%!
It looks like a busy lambing.
2007 drop ewes
Ewes are the strength of a good breeding flock. Coronga has a number of ewes in the Elite dams in Lambplan.
Our 2007 drop ewe progeny, as shown below, include 8 in the top 30 Elites (including THE top elite).
An inspection of our flock will show that the sheep reflect their leading Lambplan figures.
Coronga joined nearly 400 ewes in 2008 including 2007 born and 2006 born maidens.
